MUSIC TOGETHER® with Treble Time Music Studio is a 45-minute class that meets once a week and provides a fun and energetic environment dedicated to nurturing every child’s innate musicality.

While making music is a joyful activity valuable for its own sake, it also offers benefits that can be especially welcome in an early learning setting. Children in Music Together have shown gains in cognitive, physical, language, social, and emotional development. When Music Together is a part of your early learning community, music isn’t just fun—it’s a powerful learning tool, too!

Designed specifically for toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years old, this engaging session encourages sensory exploration, creativity, and social interaction in a safe and stimulating environment.

Join us on Mondays and/or Thursdays for a 2-hour play session filled with exciting textures, colors, and materials that spark curiosity and imagination. From finger painting and water play to sensory bins and creative crafts, your child will enjoy an immersive, fun-filled experience while developing fine motor skills and social connections.

This is an OUTDOOR CLASS SESSION.

Little Tinkerers is a unique outdoor class designed for toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years old, where they can engage in exciting, open-ended play while enjoying fresh air and nature.

Held at McCarren Park every Tuesday, this class encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity through interactive activities such as:

🛠️ Loose Parts Play – Building and creating with natural materials like sticks, leaves, and pinecones

🎨 Nature Art – Painting with mud, making leaf prints, and crafting with flowers

🔍 Sensory Exploration – Digging in soil, playing with sand, and water pouring stations

🚀 Simple STEM Activities – Building towers with blocks, rolling balls down ramps, and experimenting with balance

🌿 Outdoor Storytime & Music – Singing songs, moving to the rhythm, and enjoying interactive storytelling

This class is perfect for little explorers who love to tinker, build, and discover new things in an engaging outdoor setting.

What better way for your child to engage, play, and have fun than through the magic of books? 

Little Book Club is a delightful and interactive class designed for toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years old, combining storytime, and hands-on activities to bring books to life!

Join us Wednesdays for a literacy-rich adventure where little ones will:

📖 Enjoy interactive storytime – Engaging read-alouds with fun voices, props, and puppets

🎭 Act out stories – Encouraging imagination through role-playing

🎨 Get creative with book-based crafts – Painting, stamping, and sensory activities inspired by the story of the day

🧩 Engage in literacy-building play – Exploring letters, storytelling props, and hands-on activities

We are offering two OUTDOOR class sessions: for ages 1.5-3.5 on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

This 45-minute class, held outdoors once a week, provides an exciting and energetic introduction to soccer for young children. Designed for toddlers aged 3-5 years old, this class encourages movement, coordination, and a love for physical activity in a fun, supportive environment.

Through engaging drills, playful games, and creative activities, little ones will:
⚽ Develop basic soccer skills – Kicking, dribbling, and passing in a way that’s easy and fun
🏃‍♂️ Improve coordination & balance – Running, jumping, and quick changes in direction
💪 Build strength & endurance – Age-appropriate activities to enhance motor skills
🤝 Learn teamwork & social skills – Practicing turn-taking, listening, and cooperative play

Whether your child is kicking a ball for the first time or already loves to run and play, this class is the perfect introduction to the world of soccer—helping your child build confidence, stay active, and most importantly, have tons of fun!

Let’s teach our little ones how to recycle and use recycled materials! Find a blue bin at The Play Lab and bring recycled materials that we can use for arts and crafts projects at The Play Lab (check our free afternoon class schedule!). We would like The Play Lab to become an exchange board - please bring clean paper rolls, big paper towel rolls, plastic caps, plastic bottles. We will use it all in fun and creative projects.
